I love it whenever a company kills off old software and legacy support. This week:
- Uninstall now! Apple abandons QuickTime for Windows despite lingering critical flaws - Macworld
- Chrome 50 ends support for Windows XP, Vista, and earlier versions of Mac OS X - PCWorld
And, of course, there will be lots of folks who feel these are bad moves and will be unhappy about it. When this country stopped poisoning itself with leaded gasoline, were there people who complained about that too?
