South Korea Issues Arrest Warrant for Its President
Hyung-Jin Kim for the BBC: South Korean court issues warrants to detain impeached President Yoon and search his office
“A South Korean court issued warrants Tuesday to detain impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol and search his office and residence over allegations of rebellion in connection with his short-lived declaration of martial law.“
Personally, I’d like to have the government that I live under occasionally issue arrest warrants for its presidents. There isn’t a United States president that has held office during my mortal life that I don’t think should have been charged with crimes.
UPDATE: Looks like “Gwangju, South Korea is flying the flag of Virginia to protest against President Yoon Suk Yeol”
